I still think my favorite “gala” was the first one I ever did, because to this day I still recall the impact it had on the guests and the fact that it was a real expression of the clients anniversary. The client was Alvin Ailey and the anniversary was his 25th. I also have to humbly admit that I was mainly thrilled because my staff and I were able to pull it off!
The New York City Ballet, The Whitney Museum of Art, The Fresh Air Fund, Armand Hammers Stop Cancer Benefit, Tiffany and Company’s Benefit for the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum, David Rockefeller’s “Evening at the Philharmonic”, The Festival of Light and Sound at the World Financial Center , these are just a few of the many wonderful and prestigious galas I have helped plan and been part of.
